THESE ARE FRACTURED TIMES
But your relationships shouldn't suffer because of political climate. It's time to take back conversation with those you care about—learning to host healthy, vulnerable dialogues with those you might not agree with on every issue.
THIS MOMENT CANNOT TEAR US APART.
The difficulty of this conversation is not unique to this time in history; however, it’s true that this is a particularly fractured time for politics. It’s easier than ever to fall into this trap of listening to half the story, a narrative created specifically for one group that villainizes other view points.
We absolutely must have the tough conversations with people we love.
Our world needs critical thinking right now. We need the ability to engage in dialogue to create new solutions and to break the tight and damaging grip of those echo chambers. We need to remember that other experiences and opinions are valid and human and that the voice of our nation is a complex symphony of many different kinds of people—that the moments we truly have been great have been those that ideas were shared, the people were empowered, and brave people did what was right.
Right now, the tough thing—and the right thing—that brave people must do is to have the courage and compassion to engage in discussions that can be catalysts for powerful change. You may have been burned before, but this time, you have both a guide and a mission to use those same dividing conversations to unite and heal. It’s hard work, but you’re the people for the job.
Overcome barriers. Build better relationships. Combat the divisiveness of the era.
During this one hour intensive, we're walking you through the steps you need to engage in honest, respectful dialogue with somebody you care about—including exercises, pitfalls to avoid, and a Q&A with a marriage and family therapist.

And worse, how is it SO hard to talk about this?"
